Terms
Last updated October 6, 2026
These are the rules for using Poko. By using Poko, you agree to them.
Using Poko
- You must be 13 or older.
- One account per person, signed in with your own phone number.
- Keep your phone and account safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
No abuse, no objectionable content
Poko has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. Don’t post, send, or add any of these, anywhere in Poko:
- Harassment, bullying, or threats.
- Hate speech or slurs.
- Nudity or sexual content.
- Violence or gore.
- Spam, scams, or pretending to be someone else.
- Someone else’s private information.
- Anything illegal.
This covers ratings, notes, photos, captions, comments, profiles, collections, and places you add. Poko blocks some words outright. We remove content that breaks these rules, and we suspend or remove the accounts that post it.
Reporting and blocking
Report a post, comment, photo, list, place, or profile from its … button, or press and hold a comment. We review every report within 24 hours.
Block someone from their profile. You’ll stop following each other, and they can’t find you, see your posts, or comment on them. We don’t tell them. Find everyone you blocked in Settings.
You can also email hello@getpoko.app.
Your content
What you post is yours. You let Poko store it and show it to the people your settings allow, so the app can work. You confirm you have the right to post it.
Places on the map come from members and open data. They can be wrong, so check before you go.
Ending your account
You can stop using Poko at any time. To delete your account and its data, email hello@getpoko.app. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
Our responsibility
Poko is provided as is. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses from using it.
Apple
These terms are between you and Poko, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Poko, its content, or support, and has no duty to maintain it. If Poko fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund the price you paid, which is nothing today. Apple and its subsidiaries can enforce these terms as a third party.
Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For big changes, we’ll tell you in the app.
